Area of Practice – Family Law

Jialin is a solicitor in the Family Law team at Somerville Legal and was admitted to practice in 2025.

 

She has experience in a broad range of family law matters, including complex property settlements and parenting disputes involving risk, abuse or family violence. Fluent in Mandarin, Jialin provides accessible and culturally sensitive support to Mandarin-speaking clients.

 

Jialin is known for her calm and empathetic approach. She is committed to delivering practical, cost-effective solutions tailored to each client’s circumstances.

 

Qualifications and Memberships

  •  Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales
  • Admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia

 

Personal Statement

Away from the office, Jialin enjoys spending time with friends at local cafés and exploring Sydney’s parks and beaches. Her favourite way to unwind is Yoga and running along the coastline.
