Area of Practice – Commercial Litigation

With a unique background bridging finance and law, Sarah brings a multifaceted perspective to her legal practice. Before entering into the legal industry, Sarah gained valuable experience in compliance at one of the largest privately owned stockbroking firms in Australia and New Zealand and later served as a policy officer in the New South Wales Department of Finance, Services and Innovation, collaborating with executives on critical issues such as cyber security and financial technology.

Early in her legal career, Sarah served as an Administrative Department Liaison Officer within the New South Wales Department of Justice, working for the first female Attorney General of New South Wales.

In private practice, Sarah has specialised in Commercial Litigation, contributing to the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation, and Financial Services Industry, as well as the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety. She has represented clients across all jurisdictions, handling a diverse range of matters including debt recovery, construction disputes, insolvency, intellectual property, franchising, and general commercial disputes. Her expertise extends to providing commercial advice in employment law and commercial law more generally.

A notable aspect of Sarah’s practice are the strong relationships she maintains with former colleagues and clients from the finance sector, many of whom have become valued clients. This network underscores her commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Personal Statement

Outside the courtroom, Sarah pursues a passion for fashion as a stylist and creative director, dressing Australian and International celebrities, models and creative talent for both editorial and commercial projects. She enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, eating out and caring for her two British Shorthair cats.
